1923 - 2023
Mary Boyle of Lucknow died at Wingham Hospital on March 19, 2023 with her daughters by her side. She was in her 100th year. Mary was the much loved wife of the late Jim Boyle who predeceased her in 2010. Mary was born in West Wawanosh Township on September 18, 1923 to her late parents Amy (Wark) and Thomas Salkeld.
Dear mother of Linda (Matt) Plant of Chisholm Township, Lorraine (Mark) McDougall of Wingham, and Lorna (Marty) Askes of Thorndale. Missed by her grandchildren Joshua, Amy (Cody), Sarah, Mike (Meagan), Katie (Mike), Andrew (Lauren), Scott (Amy), and Graeme (Carolyn), and her great-grandchildren Tom, Glen, Rhyse and Rachel. Survived by her sister Margaret Schmidt of Alberta, and sister-in-law Meg Lane of Lucknow. Predeceased by her brother Lawrence Salkeld, and sister Helen Salkeld (Isobel Creelman), and her in-laws Francis (Irene) Boyle, Olive (Bill) Hughes, Edna (Fred) Fowler and Marjorie (Aurel) Armstrong. |
