Mary Louise Gibson (Boyd)

Mary Louise Gibson, beloved wife of the late Ernie Gibson, of Goderich and formerly of Lucknow, passed away peacefully at the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich on Monday January 9, 2023 at the age of 84. She was born in Kincardine on July 29, 1938 to the late Mac and Edna Boyd. Survived by daughters Laurie (Shawn) Dalton and Lisa (Peter) Van Dyke, brother Glenn (Anne) Boyd and brother-in-law Lynn (Donna) Lowry. Greatly missed by grandchildren; Angela (Matt) John (Sam), Mike (Jenny), Erinn, Darren (Lindsay), Justin (Leah), Tyler (Dayna), and seven great grandchildren. Also survived by in-laws John & Catherine Crocker, Dorothy Hamilton, Carolyn & Chris Brown, Gladys Hamilton, George & Pat Gibson, Cookie & Paul Wardle and Val & David Gibson and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Dean Gibson, sister Gayle Lowry and brothers-in-law Roy (Evelyn) Gibson, Al Hamilton and Donald Hamilton. A public visitation will be held on Saturday January 14, 2023 from 11-1 PM at the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow, followed by a private funeral service. Spring interment Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow.
