Our deepest sympathies to Sylvia's family. We were so shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. We have great memories of the many horse shows she accompanied mom to, to watch our youngest daughter compete. She was a lovely lady and such a good friend to mom. We will always remmber the special times they had together. Always in our thoughts.
My sincere condolences to you and all the families on the passing of your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Treasure the memories . Sincerely Phyllis
Sending our sincere condolences to Sylvia's family and friends from Heather Ball and members of the Berea Lutheran Hats and Mats Project, who were recipients of the hundreds of sleeping mats that Sylvia personally contributed to our Project and then to the homeless in Southern Ontario. Her contributions over the past five or so years was unmatched in quality and quantity and we are forever grateful that she was a part of our Project. Sending love to her family and we will all miss her.
We are so saddened by the news of Sylvia’s death. As residents of Goderich Place our paths often crossed and we had spoken to her this past week. Sylvia’s contribution to the Mats and Hats program was unequaled. No one person contributed more and every mat that was made from milk bags went out to the homeless. She was tireless in this project and involved others at Goderich Place who did the cutting and looping together of the strips for her to weave. We will all miss her. Our condolences to her family.
Our deepest condolences to Sylvia’s family. Sylvia and Mom had such great times together, whether in their gardens, a day trip, or their trip to France. How fitting that they chose the same week to go on their final journey together. May she rest in peace!
So sorry to hear this sad news. Saw her often when I played the piano at Goderich Place just down the street and she showed me all the mats she had made out of milk bags for the homeless. Everyone will miss this nice lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
