Dan’s career with the Goderich Salt Mine spanned 40 years but his true calling was farming. Raising sheep for many years, and later cash cropping. He was proud to raise his kids on the farm. Dan enjoyed reading, spending time with his grandkids Klayton and Cayley and weekends in Toronto with his wife Mel.
The family would like to thank Ollie Regier and the staff at the Kincardine Hospital for their compassionate end of life care. A heartfelt thank you to family, friends and the community for the support, flowers and food deliveries.
Following Dan’s request, cremation has taken place and private family arrangements have been entrusted to the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley
