Your father was a true gentleman, always kind and polite. I have wonderful memories of him, my dad (Clark Colling), and Sandy MacCharles, best buddies. He touched so many with his gift of music on the sax, especially the concerts he played in for the community and senior functions.

Growing up in Kinloss Twp. my Dad would say to me there are 2 brothers who live up the 6th in Huron Twp. - they are really good people you know - Allister & Grant McKay. I will have to admit I got to know Allister by conversation at such events as Kinloss Community Fundraiser Dinners & Church Suppers at Lucknow - he was so interesting to talk to (he would be there with Ed & Nancy). At the time of his 90th birthday party he welcomed me with "it's great that you came Peter:" I could not believe he knew who I was and my name - I realized what a great person Allister really was in life and my Dad shared his feelings with me at an early age. RIP Allister -- I - like my Dad remember nice people in life. Peter Carter
