My condolences to the whole family on the passing of your kind and sweet mother. I have just watched the funeral service on line and it was very encompassing and appropriate.
We nearly always saw Peggy at Ripley Fair and we're impressed with her vigour and appreciation for life. She taught some of my brothers in Ashfield and they declared her the best.
Our deepest condolences to Peg's family. Your mom was such a beautiful woman with kind words and a great laugh. I always enjoyed chance encounters with her . Her memory will live on forever and she will be truly missed by all.
Our sincere condolences to all of you. Peg had a great network of family and friends through school, curling, Legion Ladies Auxiliary to name just a few. Lots of wonderful memories to comfort you at this time I'm sure. I have "Peg's Chocolate Chippit Cookies" in the cooking jar right now and I'm so happy she shared her recipe.
To our family (Eleanor and Harry Crellin / Joan and Gerry Hoogeveen & family) Peg has always been the "Grande Dame" of Point Clark !! You have chosen a perfect photo that exudes her kindness and generosity ! She always wore a smile and offered a wave ! Any time possible Peg could always be seen watching the sunset ! In my mom, Eleanor's later years, 90 to 95 she was confined mostly to a wheelchair ! When Peg baked fresh tarts or muffins, she would take a plate over to mom ! They would sit at the table, enjoying the baking, a cup of tea and talk face to face where they could both hear each other !! A wonderful friendship !! Peg will always remain in our hearts !! ❤️
Sincere condolences on the loss of your Mom, Mary and Pat and families. I have many fond memories of her wonderful smile and welcoming nature. A very strong and resiliant woman, whose positivity shone bright.

My sympathy on your mom's passing. I have many fond memories of her when I was teaching at Clover Valley School on the 2nd Concession. She always played the piano for us for Christmas concerts plus other special events. She was always so supportive and encouraging to me as a new teacher in an 8 grade country school. She was always so cheerful. You will certainly miss her.
Our condolences on the passing of your Mom. She was a very special and vital member of the community for many years. A close friend and neighbout to many. Mom talked about her and the Christmas UCW meetings that she hosted while she was able. She helped our family celebrate several milestones both happy and sad.
We are thinking of you at this sad time and remembering our interactions with Peggy.
I was sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. Peg touched a lot of lives during her many years. She was blessed with a welcoming smile and a kind, perceptive nature. I was fortunate to have spent many hours at your lovely farm down the road. Visits often included a fun time at the cottage. Seeing the umbrella tree was even exciting. Both of your parents were great neighbours and community members. Peg was fortunate to have had your support for so long and to have been part of her grandchildren's lives. Best wishes for the days ahead.
So sorry for your loss! What an incredible journey... 99 years, we should all be so lucky! Cherish your memories as they will help you through this sad time. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We have great memories of our families getting together in the good old days! Peg and Mom were great friends over all the years. I remember Mom's excitement when Peg recruited Mom to teach on a casual basis at Peg's school after a 20 year hiatus from teaching and Mom had all six of her kids in school. We have only the fondest of memories of Peg and she will be missed!
I have a special link with Peggy as she was the last surviving member of my large group of first cousins. I will always remember her upbeat attitude and smiling eyes whenever I visited her and Sandy, and even going back further with trips to aunt kate and uncle Shirl's farm. Sending my condolences to Pat, Mary and families.
