Marjorie MacLeod of Lucknow, in her 90th year, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2021 at her daughter Catherine and partner Shawn’s home in Blyth, surrounded by her family in a loving, caring environment. Devoted mother of Brenda Morrison (Ken), Bonnie MacLeod (Andy Bingle), John MacLeod (Sandy) and Catherine Hunter (Shawn McMahon) Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Also lovingly remembered by Malcolm MacLeod (Valerie). Predeceased by her husband Donald MacLeod, brothers Bill, Don and Jack England, and sisters Ruth Binder, Betty Humphrey and Shirley Smith. Sadly missed by brother- in- law Ross Smith of Brussels.
Will be greatly missed by several nieces and nephews and her extended family.
Due to present restrictions, a private family graveside service will be held at South Kinloss Cemetery on September 1, 2021. A recording of the service will be made available on the funeral home website following the burial.
Marjorie was an avid card player, reader and baker. She enjoyed life to the fullest.
To the world she was a mother but to our family she was the world.

Our Condolences to all Marj's family. We have all missed her presence in our Church family. It doesn't seem that long ago I could count on Marj for a couple delicious pies for any events at the Church. These last 18 months were also so hard for the elderly.
