Doris Humphrey beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Humphrey, of Lucknow, passed away at Pinecrest Manor on Friday July 30, 2021 at the age of 98. She was born in Ashfield Township on December 3, 1922 to the late Matilda (Jarvis) and Samuel Reid. Survived by children George Humphrey of Lucknow, Diane Nugent of St. Thomas and Sandra (Barry) Haldenby of RR#2 Holyrood. Also greatly missed by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Marjorie Humphrey, son-in-law James Nugent and siblings Ruby MacDonald, Lorna Hudson, Evelyn Cook and Milvert Reid. A public visitation will be held on Friday August 6, 2021 from 12-1:30 followed by a private family service at 2 PM.
