I'd first met Tucker when he was in Grade 3, in Mrs.Corkery's class when I was on lunch duty. All the other kids were sitting at their desk, but Tucker was sitting in his Tupperware "boat", which his teacher had provided for him because he felt better there. I thought that was so caring & thoughtful, and I got to know Tucker a little when he was young- full of adventure and stories. I taught him in French class for his first few years,& then I was on leave for a couple years. Our last year together was not the best as I felt a disconnect from the last time I'd taught him. But I could still see the playfulness in his eyes & mischief from time to time.  We had some good talks one on one, and I wished the best for this young man as he set off for high school. I am devastated for the family, for his little brother Riley who looked up to him so much. I pray God gives you all strength to get through these difficult times ahead. I hope that knowing how much others care, helps to comfort you in some small way at least. The Keating family is thinking of you all, and holding you close in their hearts.
