Shirley Anne Walden (McCreath), beloved wife of Peter Walden, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday May 22, 2021 at the age of 66. Born in Kincardine on July 26, 1954 to the late Helen (MacDonald) and Bill McCreath. Greatly missed by daughters Lori Walden (Ryan Dimma), Shannon Walden (Padraic O’Malley) and Jenna Walden (Charles Marshall) and grandchildren Case, Ava, Olive and Violet. Lovingly remembered by sister Mary Armstrong (Al Jamieson) and in-laws Mary (Ray) Chowen, Gert (John) Larsen and Brock (MaryRose) Walden. Also survived by Aunts Jean Colling, Sheila MacDonald and Audrey MacDonald and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother-in-law Lynn Armstrong. Following Shirley’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at the Lurgan Cemetery at a later date.

Will always cherish the memories of working at the Ripley Fall Fair with Shirley. She was my" right hand girl " on Monday night set up for Class 7 Arts and Crafts. I can still hear her infectious laugh echoing in the arena. Peace be with you all.

Shirley worked at Pinecrest when our mother was there in 2005. I remember how kind and compassionate Shirley was with my mom & our family. A special lady & her smile was indeed infectious. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
