Sympathy to the family. I wanted to share how Arthur was most kind to my late Aunt Myrtle . Always willing to lend a hand to help older folk. I also recall my mother Olive chatting with him. Although it seems many years ago it shows offering kindness is never forgotten. May you hear many stories of your uncle at this difficult time.
I was sorry to hear of Art's passing. My dad,Orville McCormick, was good friends with Art's brother Percy growing up on the Lakeshore. Dad stayed in touch with Art through the years and right up until his passing in 1999. I remember Art as always being at our Christmas Concert's at S.S.#7 enjoying our skits and especially the lunch afterwards. He was a kind and friendly soul. Thinking of all of Art's family at this time. Dona Doyon (McCormick)
Art and I grew up as neighbours on the farm on the "Upper Shore Road" and went to S.S.#7 Public School together. Art was a kind, and considerate school chum, and we remained friends, sharing Birthday, and Christmas cards `till this very year.I was fortunate to be able to visit with him in the summer of 2019,and chatted about "the old days" and shared a few laughs, but also spoke of many of our school mates as well.
Art Loved the Saturday Evening Band, and whenever I visited Kincardine[and while I lived there] we would always meet up at the "Drugstore corner" for a chat.
I truly loved Art, and will sadly miss his twice-yearly cards!
