My husband and I met Ewyn when we moved to Kincardine 6 years ago. We struck up our first conversation on the boardwalk by the beach, and then every time we met on walks, at the grocery store, on Queen Street and Saturday nights during the pipe band parade. Ewyn was such a wonderfully friendly person, easy-going, good-natured, with a lively personality and a great sense of humour. He was a sweet gentleman who made a great impression on us -- we feel lucky to have had those encounters and conversations with him. Thank you for your friendship, Ewyn; we will miss you. Rest in peace. (Darene Yavorsky & Daniel Holm)
Very sad to hear of Ewyn's passing, I'm really gonna miss all of our visits at the Cemetary and at our home. Ewyn was a special gentleman and he missed his wife so much, so I know how happy he will be to finally be with her again. Glad to have had a nice visit with him a couple weeks ago, rest in peace my friend, Allison Wilken.

We were so sorry to hear of Ewyns passing. We met him during walks along the beach a few years ago. He shared beach glass and other finds with us. He was such a fine gentleman. Vic and Sue Zettler
I first met Ewyn at Trillium Court about 3 years ago. I remember his love for the real vanilla ice cream. (The good kind you can only buy at Sobey's he said) He was a kind soul & I'm sure he will be missed by many. He often spoke about his late wife who he loved so dear. He loved the Kincardine pipe band & taking walks. May he now rest in Peace.
My sincere symphaty and condolonces to the family of Ewyn. Since moving in at Trillium Court 3 years ago, I got to know and befriend Ewyn. He was a true gentleman with a great sence of humor. He very thankfully told me about his life, his time on the great lakes freighter, his work all over Canada, he proudly showed me the tombstone with the beautiful picture engraved of the Swisha Dam in the Ottowa river where he met his wife. His humor and smile will be missed.
Our deepest sympathy to Lynn and Christine on the death of their Uncle Ewyn. He was a great man and we had many wonderful visits with Barbara and Ewyn over the years, in Pembroke. Barbara was my cousin. Ewyn missed Barbara dearly and now they are together again. Rest in peace Ewyn, you are now pain free and once again with the love of your life.
I will greatly miss Ewyn. He has been a constant in my life, and was like a grandfather to me. I will miss his laugh, and most of all, my family and I will miss him popping in for a quick visit. Rest in peace dear friend, reunited with your beloved Barbara.
