Wally Pollock of Ripley passed away on August 13, 2020 at the Kincardine Hospital. He was 90 years old. Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Sutherland) for 67 years. Wally was born in Kincardine, Ontario to his late parents Sophia (Haug) and Ernest Pollock. He was the loving father of Sherry (Annemie), Sandy (Marg), Mike (Shelly), and Joanne (Kevin). Proud grandpa of 11 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Lucille Fischer. Predeceased by brothers and sisters in law Melville (Beattie), Clarence (Lois), Lorne, Dawson (Joyce) and brother in law Lorne Fischer. Wally was a long time Huron Township Farmer who was very active in the community. He was a member of the Ripley Lions club for decades, a faithful member of St. Andrew's United Church, and a strong supporter of Ripley Wolves Hockey and many minor hockey teams. He loved to travel and to curl. Most of all he cherished his family. He was a great guy who will be sadly missed. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of R-Villa, Dr. Murray and the hospital palliative care team for their compassionate care. A private graveside service will be conducted at the Ripley Cemetery. Rev. Marsha Roberts officiating.

My deepest condolences to each of you. May you cherish all those special moments and memories!! He helped raise a fine family. One thing that stands out in my mind is what a fine singer and dancer he was. I am sorry I can not personally extend my sypathies.

I was very saddened to hear of Wally's passing he was a wonderful gentleman and Wm and I always enjoyed the visit with him and you Elaine any time the opportunity arose, you certainly have had many wonderful years working on the farm and traveling to many places and so many memories to hold in your heart. My deepest sympathies to you and your family, you certainly will miss him.
Thoughts of spending time on the farm with my 2nd family rush back hearing the news. My condolences to the Pollock family in this time of grief. He was truly a great friend and man and will be missed.
