Dr. Helen Salkeld passed away at Sepoy Manor Retirement Home on July 15, 2020. She was born near Lucknow on July 22, 1926. After attending school in Lucknow, Helen attended University and became an Entomologist. She spent her career doing research at Agriculture Canada Laboratories (Experimental Farm) in Ottawa. Helen lived on a small farm near Ottawa, but recently retired to Sepoy Manor in Lucknow. She is predeceased by her parents T.J. and Amy Salkeld, brother, Laurence, and special friend Isobel Creelman. Helen is survived by her sisters Mary Boyle of Lucknow, Margaret Schmidt of Alberta, sister-in-law Meg Lane of Lucknow, and several nieces and a nephew.Donations
