As children growing up in St.Marys, ON, we visited Teeswater and the Murrays many a summer with our mother, Eleanor (Thompson) Murphy. Then when we left home and had our own families, we would always go back to Teeswater for the ‘Old Boys Reunion’.
I only have memories of fun and laughter with my mothers’s friends - - the extensive Murray family. I remember Joan, because we shared a beautiful name.

I have such fond memories of Joan and Charlie. They were great neighbours on the 10th and friends of my Mom & Dad. I had the privilege of babysitting the whole gang from time to time. Some late nights, lots of laughs, and very, very busy times. Joan will be missed greatly. I so look forward to when we can get together to share stories of "the good ol' days". In the meantime, my family's thoughts are with you all. Ruth (Eckenswiller) McDonald
