Obituary

Melville Hansford of Lucknow passed away on January 21, 2020 in Wingham, Ontario at the age of 72. Loved partner of Karen Stiver. Mel was born in Pictou, Nova Scotia on October 13, 1947 to the late Rena (Ferguson) and Melville J. Hansford. Dear father of Melanie (Brad) Pyke of Kincardine, and Michelle (Kevin) McLellan of Guelph. Missed by his grandchildren Kristy, Allicia, Shelby, Mitchell, and Nathan, and his great-grandchildren Violet, Landis, Logan and Jasmine. Survived by his siblings Randy (Wendy), Bonnie, and Freda (Clarence). Predeceased by his wife Marilyn, by 1 granddaughter, and sister Cindy. Following Mel's wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday February 8th, 2020 at 1:00 PM at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow. Pastor Ray Luinstra officiating.
