So sorry to hear of the passing of Leo. Brian Keith & I saw him on the Murray float in the Lucknow Reunion parade last year. He was a great patriarch. Our families visited back & forth playing cards for the adults & hide & seek for the kids. Jim & I were in school together from Grade 1 and Murray and Marilyn were in school together too and in the Gord Cayley band and Goderich Laketown Band. My sincere sympathy. Sandra
Our sincere condolences to all of Leo's family. He always had a ready smile and a big “hello...how are YOU doing?” His interest in people and the community caused much respect and love from so many. He will be missed.

My Deepest Condolences to you all at this time.I have nothing but the most fond memories of Leo and of course your Mother. I remember the amazing times we spent with them. He gave me many a great piece of advice on many occassions. We enjoyed a few wee drams o the creature. Your Mom and Dad always had me over after Christmas Eve Mass at St, Mary's. That is a very special memory that I will always carry with me. Carry the memories with you of those special times you all shared. Thinking of You. Doug Stever-Akesson

How sad to see the news- The days of the Lucknow Agricultural Society projects came roaring back in memory! What good times we had in the Fair Days and through the years. The last visit was at the Teeswater Old Boys- sadly missed, Leo. Warm wishes to the young ones- I remember you all. Denis Murphy also remembers days long ago visiting the Murray family- We send our sincere sympathy to you all.
Your father has left wonderful memories to so many. We had the priviledge to meet him when he was on BRUCE County Council. Our friendship lasted for over 40 years and every chance we had to visit we enjoyed his company. Please accept our sincere sympathy.
Our sympathies go out to each and every one of you. Leo will be remembered fondly by all that had the great blessing of knowing him. He was kind, caring, generous and had a great sense of humour. He was a pillar of our community, and raised a tremendous family. Hugs to you all.
I'm so sorry Mike. I wish there was something that could be said or done to take away the hurt. Cherish all your good times......there were many. Thoughts and love. Jill and Larry
I am so saddened to hear of the loss of a Leo. I grew up with Leo being my neighbour and definitely my dear friend. He helped me in so many ways. From helping me when I lost my mom and sharing my passion for horses. I remember every Thursday night he would hook a double team of horses up to the wagon and I would hook a single horse to the cart and we were off.
To all Murray family,,our heartfelt sympathy on the loss of Leo,,,men like Leo made the world a better place,,,he was such a delight to visit with,,,, a loss to his family his friends and his community. So sorry we are away for a few weeks but will be thinking if you all at this time,
Please accept my sincere condolences to all of Leo's family. Leo was one of a kind and I always enjoyed running into him or having a visit with him, especially when he had a mickey of Whiskey and a small bottle of Pepsi to have a toast. When we did visit he always spoke about all of his kids and what they were up to, so I want you to know, he was very proud of all of you. I have alot of good memories of Leo going back to when he was Deputy Reeve, and in the years that followed, as a good friend. I know he is with "mom" (Imelda) now, so I know that he is kicking off those cowboy boots that he used to wear and relaxing. Rest in piece my friend.
My sincere condolences to all. I truly believe Leo, Imelda and Dad And Mom (Russ and Gail) are all looking down on us and smiling and of course starting up their Card games again.
