Obituary

Brian Doelman, of Lucknow, beloved husband of Alice "Alie" Doelman for almost 67 years, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, August 9, 2019 at the age of 88. He was born in Alphen a/d Ryn, Holland on October 1, 1930 to the late Anna (Noordam) and Nicolas Doelman. Greatly missed by children Margaret (Charles) McMann of BC, Karen (Ed) McGugan of RR#5 Lucknow, Anne (Raymond) Reynen of Listowel and Nicholas (Brigitte) Doelman of Ottawa. Also survived by daughter-in-law Alice Doelman of Kinloss, 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, brothers Arend (Cootje) Doelman of Holland and Case Doelman of Washington State and sister Audrey (Dick) Rademaker of Washington. Predeceased by son Gerald, and siblings Nicolas, William, Jacob, Peter, John, Mary and Margaret. Visitation will be held from the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow on Monday August 12, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service from the Lucknow Community Christian Reformed Church on Tuesday August 13, 2019 at 3 PM with visitation one hour prior. Interment South Kinloss Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Food Grains Bank, Wingham Hospital Foundation or the charity of your own choice are greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
