Douglas Norman Haldenby, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday March 20, 2019 at the age of 83 years. He was born on November 11, 1935 in Westford to the late Bertha (Milne) and Ted Haldenby. Loving husband of 59 years of Gladys Haldenby (Hulley). Dear father of Kim & Grant Phillips, Steven Haldenby, and Kandra & Art Clark. Adored grandpa of Shannon & Andy Ritchie, Kelly & Joel Sutton, Courtney Clark & Jamael Jacklin and Chris Clark & Brianna Yuill. Special great Grandpa of Aidan Lee, Harley, Tyra, Haven and Jaren Sutton. Also remembered by his brothers and sisters Rae Haldenby, Barb (Fred) Friendorf, Norma O’Malley, Ted (Mary Ann) Milne, Brenda (Ken) Brown, Bob Haldenby, Beatty Irwin, Barry (Sandra) Haldenby and Don (Janice) Haldenby. Brother-in-law of Gordon Hulley, Lawrence (Joan) Hulley, Warren (Sharon) Hulley and Nancy Hulley. Predeceased by his in-laws Jack & Margaret Hulley, and family Dale Haldenby, Betty & Lloyd Johnston, Joyce & Delbert Hedley, Ross Irwin, Michael O’Malley, Donna Haldenby, Bob Hulley, Norman Hulley, Polly & Garth Blanchard and Don Shinkle. Visitation will be held from the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow on Saturday March 23, 2019 from 6-9 PM. A private family service will be conducted.

Dear Aunt Gladys , Kim &Grant , Steven, Kandra & Art and Families we are so sorry to hear the passing Uncle Doug he was a very talent man and wore many hats over the years .
