Margaret "Lois" Pollock of Ripley died at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on December 29, 2018 at the age 90. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Pollock who predeceased her in 1995.
Lois was born June 24, 1928 in Huron Township to the late Catherine Bell and Howell Fraser.
Dear mother of Barry of Toronto, Connie Hutchinson, and Keith & Kerri Pollock both of Ripley.
Missed by her grandchildren Lisa (John) Wong of Toronto, Marie (Matt) Gareau of Guelph, Nicole Collins of Edmonton, and Matt Pollock of Guelph. Fondly remembered by her Pollock & Fraser Families.
Predeceased by her daughter Jane and her siblings Fern, Grant, Glen and an infant sister. Lois was a co-owner of Pollock Electric (Ripley) and worked there until she retired. She enjoyed playing bridge, both here and in Florida. She was a life member and past president of the Ripley Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She loved playing cards and crokinole with her grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Lois' Life will be held at the St. Andrew's United Church on Tuesday January 8, 2019 at 1:30 PM with visitation beginning at 1 PM.

I remember so many good times with Lois ......time at the cottage,holidaying at Fort Meyers,meals and cards in Ripley......Lois could cook up the tastiest dinners when she entertained us for the Staff parties......and she was the sharpest person I ever knew for cards and games.....She was a kind and very caring Lady!!!!....so good to their Employees!!!
Thinking of you during this difficult time. It is quite remarkable when we think of the life journey for Lois and Clarence to start their business, and to continue to see it thrive today. Ripley is an amazing village to grow up in as well as enjoy raising a family. Our hearts are with you.
