I am sorry to hear of Jean's passing. She was a good friend of my mother and her sisters. They spent a lot of time together on Standpipe Hill and growing up I heard of all the fun they had on that hill. My parents would sometimes visit Jean and Lawrence on a Sunday drive and I would marvel at Jean who might have coveralls on having been working in the barn and the next thing you would know a lunch spread out on the kitchen table. As time went by, I always enjoyed a visit with Jean usually at church. Her smile and laugh always made you feel good. She was a special person.
Just received notice of Jean's passing. Although I did not know her personally, as a member of Eastern Star, she would have been my sister, and I extend my condolences to all of her family.
Our deepest sympathy to all jeans family on her passing. What a dear sweet lady that I have known for many years. My dad always talked so fondly of those cute little Struthers twins that always sat in front of him with his grandparents at the Medodist United church on Sundays. Gordon was dad's age.,,,sorry we cannot be there but thinking of you all. Nearly a century that she has experienced is pretty amazing.
We’re so sorry to hear of Jean’s passing. She was a lovely lady and so full of life! Her laugh and beautiful smile won’t be forgotten. Thinking of you during this sad time đź’—
