I had the opportunity of working with Rev Gerry McFarlane during the entire time he was the Minister at the Mount Forest United Church. Gerry loved joking, which never change even when I followed though on his to dare me to order a pizza during church (which we had pop with). Gerry had a great laugh and a passion for life. My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Rev. McFarlane.
Sorry to receive the sad news that your Dad passed away last evening. I had the opportunity to work with your Dad when he ministered at Mount Forest, and when he served as President of Hamilton Conference and again when he was Chair of Bruce Presbytery.
I hope you know you are not alone in your sorrow. You are in our thoughts and we're wrapping you in the tighest hug of deep and heartfelt care.
My husband David sends along his condolences.
Blessings, Lillian Gohn, Secretary, Bruce Presbytery
