I am sending you my sincere thoughts and prayers that the God of peace will surround you in this time of grief.  Your Mom is one of the most positive persons in the community.  I can still hear her cheering at the ball park.  She is a real cheer leader for the whole community.  I especially appreciate her acts of kindness with my Mom on the day that my wife Kathy died. When I phoned to tell Mom, Joyce was sitting with her and stayed with her for the evening. Never has the expression 'Heaven has received another angel' ever been more appriopriate than for this special lady.  For everything Joyce experienced in her life she took it as God's will.  I first remember Joyce's special patience as a 4H leader trying to teach us the 'proper' way to can produce.  Joyce will be missed by so many and none more than her family, God bless you all.

My children called this wonderful Gramma Joyce Courtney.  She took them to Sunday School many times.  She was a wonderful and caring neighbour!
