Eric Hackett of RR3, Lucknow, passed away at Wingham Hospital on March 6, 2018 at the age of 90. He was the beloved husband of the late Helen (Gammie) who predeceased him in 2006. Eric was born in Ashfield Township on October 25, 1927 to the Irene (Irwin) and Thomas Hackett. Dear father of Murray & Deb Hackett of Alberta, Ann & Arnie Holman of London, Aaron & Mary Hackett of Lucknow, Bonnie Osinga of RR#, Lucknow, Tim & Kim Hackett of Dobbington, Heather & James Hockley of Alberta, Kevin & Susan Hackett of Ripley and Ray Hackett and Gail Kidd of Palmerston. Missed by his 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his siblings Keith, Doug and Irlma. Visitation will be conducted on March 9, 2018 at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow from 1:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment at Greenhill Cemetery.Donations
