It is with grieving hearts we share the sudden and unexpected passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Etta Isabel Grace Dickieson,(nee Bolton) in her 86th year on November 22, 2017 in Kincardine, Ontario. Etta was the daughter of the late Robert & Rose Etta Bolton of Teeswater. Wife of George (predeceased), companion of Alex Smith (predeceased). Dear mother of Shirley (Brian) of Ripley, George (Tammy) of Manitoulin Island, step-mother of Betty (Don), plus many others who called her "mom". Grandmother to Jolene (Clint), Dennis (Elyse), Janine (Andy), Mark (Amie), Jonathon, Noah, and Kathy. Great-grandmother of Brianna, Anthony, Anika, Reed, Kyla, Drayce, Isaiah, Kairi, Caryss, Jaida, and Austin. Affectionate aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Etta will be missed by her brothers John Bolton of Wingham, and Harvey Bolton of Walkerton, sister Marg Sleightholm of Lucknow, sisters-in-law Faye Dickieson of London, June Dickieson of Mildmay, and Marie Bolton of Walkerton, as well as her extended Smith Family.Etta loved to knit, play cards and board games, do puzzles, and to always be surrounded by little ones, whom she loved dearly. Etta had a wide circle of friends and neighbours who loved her. Her door was always open to everyone. With family by her side, she slipped peacefully into her Spirit Journey to reconnect with so many loved ones who have gone before.

We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Etta`s passing. She was a wonderful lady who loved life and had a lot to teach and share with everyone. My mom Faye Dickieson has many fond memories of her sister-in-law Etta and they had many things in common including a love of crafts and reading. Myself and my sister Tracey and brother Ron always enjoyed our trips to Ripley with our parents to visit and get that small town closeness and friendliness with Aunt Etta and Uncle George and Shirley and George. It is wonderful that Aunt Etta was able to spend so much time with her family and all the grandkids and great grandkids who are lucky to have had her in their lives. Our deepest sympathies at this sad time. Take care, Faye, Lorna, Tracey and Ron.
Brian and Shirley and Family. Our sincere condolences in the loss of your Mom.May your many wonderful memories help to ease your sorrow, Brian and Wendy
Etta was a beautiful woman who has touched so many lives in our community. I loved seeing her eyes light up when the kids walked through the door, I'm sure many whom considered her family. She will be greatly missed. My family is sending our condolences to Etta's loved ones during this difficult time.
