We are sorry for your unimaginable loss. I didn't know Jeremy but I remember his love for you shining through at your wedding and in all the facebook photos since, a man in love so proud of his family. I hope we can be present for you in some way. You and your family are in our hearts. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
I met Jeremy during his last few years at Wescast. I don't think there was a conversation that went by that Jeremy didn't make me smile. Whether it was a conversation regarding our kids, the jokes about his coffee dependence, or what we expected out of work, he always made me laugh. My condolences to his family.
Dearest Tanja, Bojan and Dejan - our heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your loving husband and father. Jeremy will be missed by many people, but most of all by you. May memories of good times you had with him keep him in your hearts forever.
with love and caring to you both and to Jeremy's family, near and far. The loss of a child should not happen- nor a sibling, a spouse, a father. We are so sorry. Sheila Clarke, Meaghan and Cailin and families
Dear Uncle Mike, Aunt Kerri, Kristen, Tanja, Bojan and Dejan. What a huge loss. I am one of Jeremy's many many many cousins but he was a one in a million. Always a smile on his face. Always a hand ready to help. The world is definitely down one exceptional being. Sending lots of love from the west in this very difficult and hard to comprehend time.
It is with much sadness that we lose such a loving, caring person at such a young age. I had the privilege to work with Jeremy in Hungary, Canada and the United States over many years and learnt so much from Jeremy, yet it seems like the memories I have are outside of work. When staying away from home, we spent many a night socializing, talking, enjoying casual times together. This is what I will miss the most...
It is with disbelief and sadness that we offer our condolences for your loss. Jeremy was a symbol of cool, calm and collected. He was what we all secretly wanted to be. We lost touch for a few years and this we deeply regret, and this is something that we have to deal with when we look at ourselves in the mirror. Please do know that you all have friends in this family. Take care of yourselves, remember Jeremy, his laughter, big smile and patience. We love you all.
Jeremy was a great guy, it was a big shock to hear about his passing. Like Ben Knorr mentioned and Micah as well, he was such a good friend - Even though I regretfully lost touch with him through high school years and after, he was one of the best friends a guy could have memory of. I specifically remember rolling a snowmobile down a hill by accident with Jeremy at his farm, afterwards we realized the windshield was broken, thinking this was the biggest mistake going I was pretty scared to mention it to Jeremy's Dad. Jeremy wasn't, when we confessed to the accident I could see that his Mom and Dad were really a great, caring pair and that Jeremy had assumed many of their attributes. I am sorry for the loss of Jeremy, Kristen, Mr and Mrs O'Neil. Chad Hiller

My sincere condolences to his wife and two boys and the O'Neill Family. I had the privilege of working with Jeremy for the past three years, he was a kind and respectful person. It will not be the same at work , he will be miss.
Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. We are wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
So sad to hear about Jeremy's passing. We were classmates in Wingham. I have very fond memories of his kind nature and genuine spirit. May love and peace find you in this time.
I met Jeremy in grade 6. I was the new kid in class but his kindness and popularity helped a very shy kid (me) integrate with his new surroundings. We lived fairly close to each other and became friends rather quickly. He was so funny and just fun to be around. As it turned out my sister became friends with his sister and get togethers soon became a regular occasion for the four of us. I cannot express enough thanks to Mike and Kerri for welcoming us into their home like they did. The O'Neill family was like a second family and the love I feel for each of them is as strong now as it ever was. I have so many amazing memories from winter tobogganing or swimming in the pool on a hot summer day.
Jeremy was always great company and our conversations often dragged on late into the night. Wether we were in our sleeping bags under a starry sky or walking home after parking his truck in a snowbank, there was never a shortage of good conversation. I looked up to Jeremy, and not just because he was 1/2 a foot taller than me. He was always kind but also brave enough to stand up to anyone if he must.
I regret that after high school we slowly drifted apart. Anytime we did get together we picked up right where we left off. He was always the same old Jer; funny, intelligent and with a zest for life.
His passing has not yet fully sunk in. I can't believe he's left this world. I feel heart broken for his wife and children, for Mike and Kerri and Kristen. I pray you will find peace and your sorrow will be lifted in the knowledge that Jeremy lead a happy life.
Jeremy,
Thank-you for your unfailing friendship. I've missed you so much over the years and now it's too late. I know we'll meet again someday and I look forward to that time.
Words can't express how saddened I am to have heard about Jeremy's passing. My deepest condolences to Jeremy's family. In the past several years I have not seen him but once. It was a couple year since I had seen him and we got together for a drink and it was like we had been hanging out every week, without missing a beat. We caught up about his family and how being a father was the best experience of his life. We spoke about work and how happy he was and proud of what he was doing.
Jeremy was one of the good ones. A man who loved his family and friends. A man who was hard working and extremely intelligent who bettered the life of everyone he met. I can't say enough about what a great guy he was. He will be deeply missed.
There are no words to describe how much of a hole in everyone's life there will be! Just know we are thinking of you all. I have been remembering all the kids together at Raider Ball and smile as another memory comes up. Take comfort from all who send messeges and we will talk soon.
Many great memories with Jer during our early Wescast days in Strathroy. Jeremy and I spent an extended lunch hour at my place on September 11 2001 trying to make sense of the events we were witnessing. That and many others will remain with me.
My sympathy to the entire extended family. The world is better place because of Jeremy O'Neil.
Such sad, sad news. We send our deepest condolences to all of you as you mourn the passing of your beloved Jeremy. Cherish your memories. Godspeed, Jeremy.
Jeremy and I had a very close relationship at work and we talked many many times during each day, sometimes work related but mainly about our personal lives.
Mike, I have never met you but Jeremy often spoke about you and how hard of a worker you are. He mentioned that you had recently retired but that you will probably work harder now than when you were plumbing. I have no doubt he got his amazing work ethic from you. It was evident in the way he spoke about you that he deeply respected and loved you.
Tanja, he spoke about you every single day. He often told me that you tried texting him during the day but he told you he never received it because he didn't get cell coverage in his office...I can't remember if you believed him or not but I can assure you that was the truth. He was happy when he received messages from you. I often saw him texting with a smile on his face and every time, it was because he was responding to you. He loved you so much and was excited to go home at the end of the day to see you and his boys. I remember going to Ye's sushi at lunch one time with Jeremy...boy did we eat a lot that day. As we left, all I could think about was how full I was but all Jeremy was thinking about was getting Ye's sushi for supper. I remember saying, "aren't you full" and he said yes but my wife loves sushi so I'm bringing it home for her. It was obvious you both shared a bond of true love.
My sweet Bojan and Dejan. Oh your daddy loved you. He spoke about you every single conversation and always spoke about you with the biggest smile on his face. He loved watching the Lego movies with you and playing the game. He loved taking you to karate and watching you grow from babies to big boys. He was so excited that he was able to get your eyeglasses fixed before this vacation because he knew how important that was. Your daddy was such a great man that loved you so much. I am so sorry that he won't see you grow into successful men and hold your children one day but I know that he will never leave you. He will be with you every single day looking down on you with his big smile and watching you grow. Never forget your daddy my dear boys...he will always be there with you every step of the way.
There are no words that can express my deepest sorrow and sympathy for your loss. Fill your hearts with his memories and the thoughts that he loved each and every one of you.
Jeremy, my dearest of friends. My life will never be the same with our friendship on earth now over. I have an emptiness in my heart that will never be filled but I truly believe that one day we will meet again and we'll be able to pick up where we left off, talking about the Channel Closure project and our lives. I miss you so much and love you buddy. Rest in peace my dear friend.
