Ruth Bogues, of Lucknow passed away peacefully on February 25, 2017 at Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow at the age of 97. She was the beloved wife of the late William Bogues. Ruth was born on September 19, 1919 in Carberry, Manitoba to the late Eliza Jane (Ross) and Ewart Balkwill. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Linda Emmerton of Lucknow, and granddaughters Cindy Emmerton and partner Jen Lentinello of Kincardine, and Lori & Tim Weber of Kincardine. Proud great-grandma of Brent (Kim) Weber, and Bobbi Jo Weber, and great-great grandma of Walter. Survived by he sister Edith Tyson of Windsor. Predeceased by her siblings Roy Balkwill, Gord Balkwill, and Mildred Thompson, and son in law Lorne Emmerton, and special friend Tom Eskrick.
Ruth loved flowers, especially pink ones, and as such she was a life member of both the Ripley and Lucknow Horticultural Societies. She was the proud wife of a Mason, and was always happy to share a laugh and a visit.
Visitation will be held at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow on Tuesday February 28, 2017 from 11:00 AM until the of the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Spring Interment South Kinloss Cemetery.

I will always remember the conversations had with Ruth. She was always such a friendly woman and such a bubbly laugh. Our condolances to all the family.

Linda and I were very saddened to hear of Aunt Ruth's passing. Although we are unable to attend the funeral service tomorrow, our thoughts and prayers will be with Linda and her family.
I visited Ruth when she was at RVilla with my SJA pet therapy dog Macie. She was always so welcoming to us and we enjoyed visiting her. She was a very sweet lady. My condolences to all her family.
