Thinking of you and your family at this time. Although I never met Dr. Munn, reading his obituary he sounded remarkable as I'm sure you all knew and admired. May your memories bring you peace.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Munn. Barrie and I have so many good memories especially on those hot summer nights at the lake being serenaded by him on his accordian and of course his laughter. He was a very caring doctor and it was a pleasure to work with him. I am so sorry I couldn't get to the visitation today but our heart, thoughts and prayers are with the whole family at this difficult time.

What a truely wonderful man and Doctor! Dr Donald Munn was the first doctor I remember going to see - he cared for me, my parents, my grandparents and then delivered and looked after my own children - the true essence of a Family Doctor! With him, I was always a person, not just a number. He always remembered the family connections and would often ask about my elderly grandmother, with genuine interest. And his smile - what a wonderful smile - I will carry that in my heart, always.

I am writing as the secretary of the class of Meds 52 at Western University.  There are not too many of us left, but wanted you to know I was thinking your family at this difficult time.   Don was a well liked member of our class.  Please accept my condelences. 

To the Munn Family. Our condolences to you and yours as you join family, friends and former co workers of Don's as you remember a man, well loved and respected. I had the pleasure of working with your dad and uncle Bill for many years. We knew we were always going to be respected in the workplace when we knew they were working. Our communities were professionally served for many years and we have fond and happy memories as we join you in your loss.

Dr Don was our family doctorr for over 30 years when he was in Listowel and was very much missed when he left. Our condolences to his wife & family.   RIP Dr Don.

I remember him from my childhood as a doctor. Very gentle man. My condolences.

Wow I feel like an era has just passed along with Dr. Don. Last memory I have of him is taking my husband in to ER one night because he had been doing some grinding work that day and got steel filings in his eye. And instead of having it tended to right away he decided to try and ride it out. Long story short, we were at Listowel ER in the middle of the night and in comes Dr. Don in his jammies and a cardigan sweater. He chatted away while he looked after Ted and was pleasant as could be. To the rest of the family I think about times at the arena when we all skated and hung out at the arena.  So sorry for your loss- Don was truly a great man and you were all very lucky to have him. Our sympathies to the entire family.

So sorry  to hear of the passing of Donald ,The World Has Lost A  Special Man ...Donald was a big Influence in my life in 1980 and he sent me in a direction of a better life path and I thank him from the bottom of my heart because he was right  and my path did turn out good and looking at my son I often think of Donald's wise kind words.  when I got the news today  that Donald had passed it brought tears  and said to myself thanks Donald   For  making my life better  your kindness will have a special place in my heart. We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Munn. I remember his kind, caring bedside manner & sense of humour any time he cared for me in his role as doctor. I enjoyed visiting him at his home in Point Clark. I will always remember him for his sense of humour & zest for life. Your family is in our thoughts & prayers. Always know you, his family, were the greatest joy of his life.

Dear Joy and family - The TarBush story telling always included tales of Don when there was a party at which both were at.  Invariably he was a highlight. When I think of Don Munn, I smile.  He was a mischievous fellow who loved funny puns, cool gizmos and a good laugh. His humour was kind and innocent....he entertanined himself, along with all the grandchildren, by adorning the lively Munn home with countless musical Christmas decorations, organizing treasure hunts, playing his accordion, and sharing his genuine curiosity for life.  He will be missed by all.  oxox Terri

I am so sorry for your loss. I looked after Don for many years in Point Clark as his PSW. We played many many games of Scrabble which Don beat me several times. It was my pleasure going to the Munns, they all made me feel so welcome and I enjoyed the time that I spent there. Don was the most pleasant, happy go lucky man even despite his condition. He will be missed by so many including me. RIP Don.
