Laura Margaret (Wilkin) MacDonald, Bruce Beach, Kincardine died peacefully at Trillium Court, Kincardine ON. She was predeceased by her husband, the Reverend Dr. R. Douglas MacDonald. She is survived by their children Mary Ellen (Mike), Rory (Eva Jean), Greta (Stevan) and Angus (Carol) and their families which include 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Born in Paris, Ontario on September 24, 1917, graduated from the University of Toronto in 1939. She married Doug in June 1940 and they served together in Presbyterian Churches in St. Thomas and Tempo, also in Tillsonburg and Windham Center and lastly in Port Elgin and Burgoyne before their retirement to Bruce Beach in 1980. She also taught French and Latin for 10 years at Annandale High School while living in Tillsonburg. She is also predeceased by her sister Helen W. Cannon, her brother John G. Wilkin and her granddaughter Kerensa Leigh Allason. A Service will be held at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Ripley on Saturday August 13, 2016 at 12 noon with visitation one hour prior. Private family interment will be held at a later date.
