To the family of the late Laura MacDonald. On every occasion of being in the company of Laura, it was both enlightening and informative. We offer our sincere condolences to the family. May she rest in peace. John and Joyce.
I had Mrs. MacDonald for English in Grade 10 at Annandale. We took some memorable literature that year: To Kill a Mockingbird, Huckleberry Finn, Twelfth Night… I always associate those fine works with her class. She was a teacher of the same quality.
To the family of Laura MacDonald, my father, Earle, and I wish to express our sincere condolences on the passing of your dear mother. We will remember Laura fondly with great admiration of her gracious manner and strength of spirit. Laura was Earle's tablemate at Malcolm Place, and then fellow resident at Trillium Court, and they shared a love of books! "You never know" was one of Laura's favourite sayings, but one thing we do know, she was a special lady, and she will be dearly missed. Rest in peace.
We have wonderful memories of working with both Laura and Doug when he was the Clerk and getting printing done. Great customers and great friends. Loved their sense of humour!!
I remember having Mrs. Macdonald for French at Annandale and recall that she was a very sweet woman and a very patient teacher. My deepest sympathy is extended to her family upon their great loss...
I am sorry to hear that sweet Laura has passed on, but so very thankful for the years of joy and enlightenment that she brought to the guests and staff during her many years at Malcolm Place. Always a verse or entertaining muse, she was such a delightful lady; a long blessed life, well lived.
To the family of the late Laura,
Our deepest sympathy on the passing of your dear aunt, great aunt, friend.
I have known Laura for many years, we often had a chat.
Treasure the memories.
