We were so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. He was a great guy always wore a smile and will be missed by all who knew him. Thinking of you Myra and your family.
Rest in peace Ron. I think I only met you once. You and Myra were with your Toronto friends Dave and Gayle at Bellissimo's Pizzeria some months back and I was called over to your table. Dave said to me 'I believe this gentleman is a cousin of yours'. We confirmed it was true. We had a nice chat. I think you were out of the hospital for a day to have dinner with your wife and friends and Myra was staying with them. We became friends on facebook and I wanted to visit you, but I think you were maybe too ill and lacked strength. There is no doubt you were a very special person loved by many. Sending condolences, hugs and prayers to all your family.

Myra and Mark,
I was so truly sorry to hear of "Pollock's" passing. My deepest and heartfelt condolences to you and your families. Today I experienced a whirl of very fond memories from years past and I know this is a very grief-stricken day for the Ripley community, as they do the same and prepare to say goodbye to a great guy. My warmest thoughts are with you today.
I liked your style Ron. Got to know you as a good neighbour in Ripley riding the "Rocket" to work and back. Your interest in the labour movement came from an underlying belief in fairness and social justice. You will be missed, my condolences to your family and other friends.
