We where just informed this morning of the loss of Ron on Friday. I always looked forward to going into the station so I could chat up Ron. He was always able to make me laugh and forget about the day's worries. I was honoured to know him and will miss his laugh.

Dave said to me 'I believe this gentleman is a cousin of yours'. We confirmed it was true. We had a nice chat. I think you were out of the hospital for a day to have dinner with your wife and friends and Myra was staying with them. We became friends on facebook and I wanted to visit you, but I think you were maybe too ill and lacked strength. There is no doubt you were a very special person loved by many.
