Ruth Lorena Roe of R-Villa, Ripley, passed away on April 21, 2016 at the Kincardine Hospital at the age of 85. She was the beloved wife of the late Roy Roe who predeceased her in 2008. Ruth was born August 19, 1930 in Blandford Township to the late Mabel (Zinn) and Burt Kingsbury. She was the dear mother of Jim (Barbara) Roe of Tiverton, and Marlyn (Gary) Colwell of Glammis. Missed by her grandchildren Kimberly (Brian) Ignas, Christopher (Shantel) Colwell, Jason Roe, Jen (Chris) Brooks, and great-grandchildren , Elayna, Emmett, Henry, and Sawyer. Survived by her siblings Russell (Martha) of Woodstock, Donald of Woodstock, Ronnie (Gloria) of Tillsonburg, and Betty Thacker of Mount Forest. Also remembered by her many Roe relatives. Predeceased by sister Elsie Hockridge and brother Jack. A private Family Funeral Service will be conducted at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley. Pastor Ken Craig officiating. Interment at the Ripley Cemetery.
