Sincere condolences are extended to the whole Elliot family at the time of Earl's passing. I nursed him several years ago along with his wife at R Villa in Ripley. Thinking of you.

I was sorry to hear about the loss of Earl a well-loved member of the Purple Grove community. I remember the party at Purple Grove when the Elliots first came to the farm from Detroit and I have great memories of many other Purple Grove occasions and also gatherings of the 10th concession neighbours and the bees we had together bringing in hay and straw.
Joyce, John and family, so very sorry to hear of your father's passing. We didn't learn the news until too late to pay our respects. Thinking of you at this time.
My deepest sympathy June and to the rest of your family. Sorry we are away but my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time and loss. We're never ready to say goodbye. Another proud W.W.11 veteran gone. Lest we forget.
Dear June, and family members,

A Father and grandfather who will be sadly missed.
The loss of a loved one is so hard to face,
you just want to hide,
go somewhere and escape!
But death is something
we all must go through.
I know it's hard
when it's someone you loved and knew.
Just know now,
he is in a better place,
no more hurt or pain shall he face.
It seems unfair, and yes, this is true,
but he is in Heaven now
watching over me and you!
God has called him home to rest!!
And he's being well taken care of
Because God knows best!
To June and all the Elliott, Farrell and Greenwood families: my sincere condolences on the passing of Earl. He was a great patriarch- it was good to see him roaring around on his scooter at the Ripley Reunion last summer! My thoughts are with all his Purple Grove neighbours and friends. Sandra
