Visitation will be held Wednesday March 16, 2016 from 7-9 PM, and 1 hour prior to the funeral service. A Royal Canadian Legion Branch 309 service will be conducted at 6:30 PM on Wednesday.

Obituary

Jim Hunter, WWII Veteran, of Lucknow passed away March 12, 2016 at Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow at the age of 93. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Isabel (Nicholson) in 2013 and his dear daughter Wanda in 2012. Left to mourn are his in-laws Donalda Smith of Clinton and Ken & Joyce Nicholson of Alliston, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Alma McKinnon, Lloyd Hunter, Lois McIntosh, and Lorna Button.

I'm so sorry to hear about Jim passing, I had the honour of getting no Jim during the time he spent at the Sepoy Manor. He always brightened my day at work put a smile on my face!

My sympathy to all Jim's relatives on his passing. But he finally got his wish to be back with his girls,. He was such a nice man and enjoyed my many chats with him over the years. So sorry we are away but thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time. One more great veteran gone. We will remember them.
