Helen Nicholson, beloved wife of the late John Nicholson, passed away at Braemar Retirement Home, Wingham, on Sunday February 28, 2016 in her 92nd year. She was born in West Wawanosh Township on March 15, 1924 to the late Mary (Durnin) and Colin McDonald. Dear Mother of Harold (Lloya) Nicholson of Lucknow and Shirley O'Malley (Doug Reinhardt) of Teeswater. Also greatly missed by grandchildren Chris Montgomery, Julie (Jeff) Pyke and Debbie (Jason) Wallace, great grandchildren Jenna, Justin, Cole, Seth, Jameson and Hayden, and sister-in law Sadie Irwin of Wingham. Predeceased by grandson Greg Montgomery, son-in-law Dennis O'Malley, brothers Marvin, Charlie, Norman, Gordon, Earl and Harvey McDonald and sisters Verna Nicholson and Dorothy Miller. A Funeral Service will be held from MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow on Wednesday March 2, 2016 at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior.

To Harold, Lloya, Shirley and families, our deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. She was a sweet lovely lady that I used to visit with quite often when she and John were in the car downtown doing errands. She was always smiling and seemed happy for the chat.
