I am so sorry that I did not get into the hospital one more time to see Dave. I did meet you on the 11th and was coming back in when I had to go to Orillia--my Mom passed away on the 18th. I played crokinole with Dave at Maitland Manor and all summer we followed the Blue Jays triumphs...he never took his Blue Jays hat off! I will remember him with much fondness. Susan
Dear Eric, Marilyn, Sharon, & Nancy & families - please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your Father / Grandfather Dave. I have fond memories of our chats uptown or at the grocery store - Dave was a very well-read man and was happy to share his opinions with me. We didn't always agree, but we had some lively discussions. He will be missed.
So sorry to hear about Uncle Dave passing away. I remember him as a kind and patient man who always had time to push us on the swings at your home. He will be greatly missed.
Hi Nancy, Sharon and Marilyn
My sympathy to you and your family on the passing of your Dad. He was a very nice man and I am glad I got to know him.
Nancy-I think of you often and have been trying to get in touch with you but I mustn't have a current e-mail address. Mine hasn't changed if you could e-mail me I would love to hear from you. Take care!
Annette
We will miss Uncle Dave's gentle sense of humour, his determined spirit, and his vast wealth of family history. Whenever we would visit, his pride in his family and his grandchildren just shone! He was a wonderful and unique man.
