Alice Middelkamp, formerly of Ripley, died at Braemar Nursing Home, Wingham on November 14, 2015 at the age of 96. She was the beloved wife of the late Hendrik Middelkamp for 62 years. Alice was born in Onstwedde, Holland on November 27, 1918 to the late Renske (Volders) and Wubbo Bosch. She was the dear mother of Renske & Edgar Daer of Blyth, Bouwina Pigeon & Adrien Legault of Matheson, Bob & Ria of Ripley, Kini & John Meyer of Holyrood, John & Harlene of RR2, Ripley, Jake & Margo of Saltford, Marian Glen of Inverhuron, and Henry & Mary of RR4, Ripley. She will be missed by her 38 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Survived by her son-in-law Allan Rutledge (Eleanor) of Huron-Kinloss, and daughter-in-law Marjorie Middelkamp of Ripley, and a sister-in-law in Holland. Predeceased by her daughter Gay Rutledge, son Albert, 1 grandson, and 1 great-grandson, and sons-in-law John Ribbink and Norman Pigeon. A Funeral Service will be conducted at St. Andrew's United Church, Ripley on Wednesday November 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Judy Zarubick officiating. Private interment at the Ripley Cemetery. Donations to St. Andrew's United Church or the charity of your choice are appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
