Gordon Brooks, of Lucknow, beloved husband for 67 years of Shirley Brooks (Culbert), passed away at Wingham Hospital on Friday June 5, 2015 at age 91. Survived by his children Ruth Savage of Kincardine, Donald (Lynn) Brooks of Lucknow and Kathy (Jim) Dickson of Kincardine. Also greatly missed by 13 grandchildren; Travis (Melissa) Remington, Cailyn (Chris) Norris, Meagan (Nick) Chammoun, Brad (Julie) Savage, Blair Savage, Alexa (Jeremy) McQuillin, Tyler (Sarah) Brooks, Dani (Luke) Lindsay, Josh (Melissa) Johnston, Lindsay (Jason) Needham, Brendan (Paisley) Dickson, Ashley Dickson and Mitch Dickson, and 10 great grandchildren; Brooke, Dylan, Jared and Bria Savage, Ty, Cal, Emmitt McQuillin, Gus Lindsay, Brooklyn Benninger and Brielle Needham. Predeceased by daughter Janice, brothers Omar and Harvey and sister Alice. Visitation will be held at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be conducted from the Lucknow United Church on Monday June 8, 2015 at 2 PM.

Ken and I were so sorry to read of Gord's passing. We were shocked as we talked to him not so long ago when we were in Lucknow , and he spoke as if he was in reasonably good health.
