Gerald and family:
I'm sorry hear of Merle's death; may you remember the wonderful times your family has had.
Gerald, several years ago you and Merle were so kind to help me with my genealogy research of the Rhody part of the Harnack family tree. Many years have been spent on my genealogy hobby but more recently I'm excited to have traced the Harnack family to their home village in Germany and to have found that a brother of our original pioneer Ernst Harnack remained in Germany. As always I'm happy to share any information with family members who are interested.
Sincerely,
Anne McIsaac

Thinking of you during this time of sadness.
Remember her great smile and keep all those precious memories close to your heart.
I was very sorry to hear about Aunt Merle's passing. She was very good to me when I came to stay at the farm when I was young; she always prepared hearty meals for the hard-working farm folk. I got a kick out of the messages she sent out by e-mail in her later years. They were always down to earth and very funny. My condolences go out to Uncle Jerry, David, Allan, Wayne, Marilyn and all the grandchildren and great grandchildren that make up that branch of the Rhody family. Special thanks to you, Michelle, for letting us know about Merle's passing so we could participate in her commemoration. You will be missed, Aunt Merle.
