Sincerest sympathy to Sue, Annette and families.
Sirkka was an awesome woman who will be missed more than she could have ever thought. Realizing that we will no longer be seeing the sparkle in her eyes, makes us feel sad. One thing we noticed was that when there were younger people around, she seemed to get younger and the eyes sparkled even more. She always seemed so happy to see us and made us feel that we were special to her. How we wish that we could have gotten one last hug from her.
As the saying goes "leave them wanting more".... and we do.
Dear Sue and Annette:
Our heartfelt condolesces, your Mom was a very special lady. We are very happy to have known her.
Love and prayers,
your cousin, Claudette and Len Benoit
My condolences to the family for the loss of Sirkka, a woman young at heart. I would not have dared to play scrabble with her after I heard the score when she beat my sister. My mother and Sirkka were teenage friends and stayed in touch over the years. Her and Norman welcomed visitors and we enjoyed getting together.
Sirkka and my mother grew up as friends and we enjoyed visiting her when we went to Sudbury. The last time my teacher friend and I played scrabble with her she was 96 and made 3 - 7 letter words and put us to shame. My condolences to the family for the loss of such a vital woman.
Sorry to hear this sad news. Brad has told me stories of time spent with his grammy and I know he has fond memories of these occassions. Best to you all.
My deepest condolences on the loss of this dynamic force known as Sirkka. She was unbeatable at Scrabble and hard to keep up with on the dance floor.
May the many fond memories and the love and support of family and friends help to comfort you through this difficult time.
Sue, I am so very sorry for your loss. No matter the circumstances it's never easy to say goodbye. May the memories you have and share will bring you comfort.
