Greetings from across the years. My mother Barbara (Bancroft), who has just passed away herself at 91, worked for John's parents at Beanfields. She always spoke so well of John and his siblings.

We are very saddened to hear of your recent loss. From the moment we moved in next door, the Green's have been inviting and kind. Mr. Green was very delightful and engaging when telling stories of past. Our hearts go out to you, Joan, and your family.

Joan and family, my sincere sympathy on the loss of John. Glad to have had the last visit you both over a month ago. John was such a friendly and interesting man I feel very privaledged to have met.
