Wilbert "Wib" Hewitt of Lucknow died at Wingham Hospital on April 23rd, 2014 at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of Eunice for over 60 years. Wib was born in Walkerton, Ontario on December 3, 1930 to the late Violet (Schuler) and James Hewitt. Dear father of Sam & Judy of Lucknow, Vern & Sue of Belgrave, Ken & Audrey of Lucknow, Gary & Darlene of Colborne Twsp., and Robin & Barb of Goderich. Missed by his grandchildren: Barry, Mary, Gary and Gerald, Krista, Jason, Tammy and Tommy, Mathew, Greg and B.J., and Jessica and by his great-granddaughter Evelyn. Survived by his siblings: Edwin (Fern) Hewitt, Audrey (Norm) Bonnett, Allison Hayes, and Ron (Janice) Hewitt. Predeceased by his brother Francis, sister Donna Carter, and his in-laws Mabel Hewitt, Charlie Hayes and John Carter. Visitation conducted from MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow on Friday, April 25th, 2014 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Don Albrecht officiating. Interment at South Kinloss Cemetery.

I was sad to hear that Uncle Wib had passed away. He will be missed by all his family and friends. He will remain always in my heart and memories of all the good times we had visiting when we were young. Love you all. Shirley, Dennis & family
