Dear Mary Ellen, Jim, Nancy and family, Wayne, Lisa and families, and Wes and Nancy and family, please know that we have you in our thoughts and prayers. We were so glad that we were able to make it up for the funeral. Most of all, it was so nice meeting all of you lovely people again after all these years. You bring so much joy, peace and happiness to all. Mary Ellen, you are such a beautiful person and Jack was a very fortunate man to have you in his life. You couldn't have found a better man that dear Jack. What a wonderful soul. He was so kind to everyone, gave from the heart and was always his true self. He could make anyone smile or laugh with his cute stories. He always made you feel welcomed no matter who you were. He was full of love. It was so sad that he didn't have more time to spend with you, Mary Ellen. Your lives together was cut short. On the way home today, Brad broke down in tears as he really thought the world of his uncle Jack and uncle Donnie. It takes a lot to make him cry but he said that he really feels the loss and 'something missing'. Brad is a 'golden boy', very sweet and precious but has feelings and emotions the same as anyone else. He really loves the Farrish's. Mary Ellen, please make sure that you write our names in the visitor's book as we did not get there today in time to do that. Thank you so much. (Joyce Farrish (Wall) and Brad Farrish. Brad and I are going to try and keep in touch more often this year and next as we never know when our # is called. We will also try to make it up to the reunions. I never knew that Jack was sick but I am glad now that he is resting in peace. No more suffering and pain for Jack. Thank you God. Jack never had a mean bone in his body and he treated everyone he met, friends and neighbours alike with the greatest dignity and respect. That was Jack. If and when anything happens to uncle Donnie, please be sure to contact one of us - Joyce 519.885.3143 or Brad at 519.807.7200. Peace be with you all, love and prayers to everyone and let the Lord lead you through the trying times. You are all so wonderful. Much love to everyone. Joyce (Waterloo) and Brad (Kitchener)

I remember many visits and annual Farrish picnics at Jack and Mary's farm. My grand parents (Lloyd and Della Robb) had the farm down the road. Many great memories of times together. Wishing all the family strength in the days ahead

Jim and Nancy and family. I am so sorry to hear of Jacks passing, he was a good man and I always enjoyed seeing him at family functions. A fond memory of Jack was at Kim's wedding and he was dancing up a storm with Kim, always thought that was pretty cool as he was no spring chicken then. Also enjoyed very much helping at the farm during hay season when I was a young boy, Jack was the first person to pay me with a cheque, and I had to open a bank account. R.I.P. Jack, you will be missed.
