Obituary

Tena Gardner, of Lucknow, beloved wife of the late James Gardner, passed away at Pinecrest Manor on Saturday March 1, 2014 in her 96th year. Dear Mother of Robert (Denise) Gardner of Barrie, Eugene (Audrey) Gardner of Lucknow, Jim Gardner of Kincardine and Roy (Nancy) Gardner of Straffordville. Also greatly missed by 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and sister-in-law Marion Tasker of Brighton. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Grace, brother Roy Havens and sister Jean Brooks. A Funeral Service will be held from the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow on Wednesday March 5, 2014 at 2 PM with visitation 2 hours prior.

My sympathy to all of the Gardner family.Tena was such a sweet lady and loved her family dearly. As hard as it is I know to let them go she deserves to be free of all the struggles. She and dad went all through school together so there aren't many of that bunch left. They certainly were the greatest generation. I will see you at the spring interment.
