Violet Kathleen Durnin, formerly of West Wawanosh Township, passed away at Huronview Home for the Aged, Clinton on February 6, 2014 at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of the late John Durnin who predeceased her in 1984. Violet was born in West Wawanosh on September 8, 1920 to the late Vera (Alton) and Victor Errington. Dear mother of Betty (Barry) Young of Clinton, George (Sandy) of Nashville, Tennessee and daughters-in-law Linda Durnin of Dungannon, and Betty-Lou Dalton, of Kingsbridge. Sadly missed by her 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brothers Harold Errington, and Ross (Elaine) Errington both of Lucknow. Remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sons Donald (1971) and Wayne (2010), and by her brother Jim Errington, and sister Jean Henderson. A graveside service officiated by Rev. Randy Covey will be conducted on Saturday May 3, 2014 at 11 AM at Dungannon Cemetery.Donations
