Deepest sympathy on hearing of Pat's passing. She will be missed by her friends in Canada as well as those who she shared humor and friendship with in Vero Beach, Florida. What a wonderful spirit.

So sorry that we couldn't make the service. I have such vivid memories of Pat, starting when I was just a young child. To me she was always laughing, polite, kind, enjoying the party, getting you what you needed and beautififul inside and out. Despite knowing that the end was near, it remained such very sad news, as it was to all I'm sure. I'm certain that Pat and Barney (those names together still roll off of the tongue so easily) are together somewhere enjoying a drink and living the long life together peacefully and pain-free. It is with great sadness that we have just learned of the passing of Pat. Pat and Barney had been long time friends of the Northfield Club in Waterloo and just last Fall Pat helped us dedicate our new doubles court to the memory of Barney. We will all truly miss Pat. She was a very kind and gracious lady. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies.

Pat was one of our very favorites here in Vero Beach. We met her years ago at the dog park & immediately became good friends. We will miss her cheerful smile & sincere & warm personality. It will not be the same without her. We are in the process of arranging a bench at the dog park in Pat's memory. When it is completed, we will let you know. Bless you all. Diane & Dick

I met Pat just a few months ago when she came for a tour, and subsequently moved in here at Malcolm Place. Her calm and gracious greeting of each new day impacted those around her. It was wonderful to see the 'Mom" as she interacted with her wonderful son, Ron. I will miss her.

Ron & Marie, Dave & Kathy, Jan & Keith, my sincerest condolences to all of you on the loss of your Mother & Sister. I met Pat shortly after moving to Vero Beach 25 yrs. ago. I considered her one of my closest friends. She was a free spirit & loved life & lived it to the fullest. I truly admire the courage & fight she showed the past years. We had so much fun together & shared so much with each other. I'll never forget the good times in Vero Beach, the trip to Ft. Lauderdale, when I showed her the town & of course the wonderful visits I had on Lake Huron. Please know that I am thinking of all of you in your darkest hour & may you find comfort in the wonderful memories she has made for you. I know the memories I have will keep her alive in my heart forever. Rely on the strength that she has displayed as you can be so proud of her. May God Bless all of you.

Ron, Dave and families, my sincerest condolences on the passing of Pat. I recently had a few chances to reminisce with Pat as I was lucky enough to be able to take her to her appointments. She and my sister were great friends when Elaine was here and we had a lot of laughs at their antics. Your Mom was such a fine lady and we will all miss her.
Ron, Dave & Families, Our sincerest condolences to you on the loss of your dear Mom. We have many years of fond memories of both your Mom and your Dad. We will always cherish the times at Lake Huron and in St. Jacobs. Please know we are all thinking of you at this difficult time.

Dear Ron & Dave, I grew up with your Dear Mom spending almost every summer on the farm with her, R I have such wonderful memories of the fun with Pat, the dances in Kincardine ( after the chores were done!) ;the running through the forest to get down to the beach for a swim ; the barn dances ! Pat loved a good time & it was always a good time being with Pat. Pat was such a great harmonizer. & when we were singing around the piano I loved to stand by Pat to follow her lead in singing the alto part. I will never forget Pat's beautiful smile & the twinkle in her eyes. She loved people & loved parties! Ron & Dave, may you remember your Mom for the happy memories she gave to you & your Families. I will miss my Dear cousin Pat, but I will take joy in remembering the many wonderful memories I have of her.

Colette and I have both worked and volunteer with persons in palliative care but never have we witnessed the courage and determination that you had shown. Throughout your illness, you have set an example for us all. Life goes on! There are still good times to be had. Generosity to be given to others! The bravery you displayed is only found in soldiers, they fight with valor and courage. You have set the bar high. Both, Ron and Dave can look up to you in the face of such bravery. It can be said: you did not loose the fight, your time had come! FAREWELL PAT ! Jim A. Brown Colette Brown
