Phyllis Joan Anderson, formerly of R-Villa, Ripley died September 5, 2012 at Southampton Care Centre at the age of 96. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Anderson who predeceased her in 1996. Phyllis was born on August 10, 1916 in Bradfield, England to the late Nora Catling and Robert Bates. She was the dear mother of Joan (Ted) Wand of Point Clark, and Deanna (Michael) Ellis of Port Perry. She was a special nana to her grandchildren: Scott, David, and Leslie, and "little nana" to her great-grandchildren: Elliott, Lauren, Quinn and Jacob. Predeceased by her great-grandson Dustin, and her siblings Winnifred, Edward, and Doris.

I wish to extend my condolences to the family for the loss of your Mother, Grandmother and "little" Nana! I had the privilege to spend a good amount of time with her these past few years at R Villa. She was a very special lady who has a very special place in my heart! She will be missed!
