Charles William Wilkins of Amberley, died at the Kincardine hospital July 26, 2012, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Mayme (Irwin) for 61 years. Cherished father of Rev. Barbara Wilkins (Roy Bortolotto) of Kennedy, Saskatchewan; Bill (Joanne) of Point Clark; Larry (Janet) of Ashfield Township; Jack (Sharon) of Ashfield Township; Janet (Allan) Peck of Belle River; Liz (David) Dadson of Kincardine; and Ken (Melissa) of Amberley. Loving grandfather of 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Charlie will be sadly missed by his sisters, Elsie Oliver of Sudbury, and Dorothy Gillin of Point Clark, and brother, Herb (Marie) of Chesley. Predeceased by his sisters Jessie Alton, Gladys Carlaw, Louise Weaver, brothers Harry Wilkins, and Herbert James (in infancy) and his parents, Ernest and Frances (Matthews) Wilkins. Visitation will be held at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow, on Sunday, Aug. 12, from 2-4 p.m., where the memorial service celebrating Charlie's life will be held on Monday, Aug. 13, at 2 p.m., with visitation two hours prior (12-2 PM). Cremation has taken place.

So sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. It seems so long ago when I used to help sort cattle at your farm with Dad. Charlie always enjoyed Uncle Girvin's company & would always talk about him often when I ran into them at breakfast over the past few years.
