Oraen Rock of Ripley, died Sunday, August 14th, 2011 in Kincardine at the age of 79. He was the beloved husband of Doris (Emmerton). Oraen was born on May 2, 1932 in Grey Township to the late Sarah M. Carnachon and Arthur Rock. Dear father of: Rose (Tom) Broome of Lucknow, Ruth (Jim) MacKenzie of Pt. Clark, Robert (Heather) Rock of Listowel, Rick (Jacquie) Rock of Clifford, and Ron (Mary Jane) Rock of Ripley. Missed by his 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers: Don Rock (Jeanette Juniper) of Kincardine, Lloyd (Catherine) Rock of Kitchener, John Rock of Mitchell, and Earl (Cheryl) Rock of Brodhagen. Predeceased by his brother Melvin Rock and sister Jean Keller.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Oraen's passing. He certainly was "one of the good ones". We were very pleased to have known him and he will always hold a special place in our hearts.
