Obituary

R. John Currie WWII veteran. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Currie (Gannett), of Wingham died Thursday in his 93rd year. Survived by three daughters: Susan (Rod) Wright of Howick Township, Ruth Ann (Ron) Sillick of Orillia, and Alexa (Jim) Dore of Wingham. Grandfather of : Erica (Brendan), Alexa (Kevin), Jocelyn, Jade, Kyle (Janelle), and Hugh. Siblings: Frances Hedderich of Wingham, Virginia Northcott of Vancouver, and James A. Currie of Goderich. Predeceased by parents Robert A. Currie and Mabel Kemp.

Susan, Ruth Ann and Alexa and families - I just heard today that your dad had passed away. I am so very sorry. He was a wonderful man and I have always enjoyed the conversations I have had over the years with him. He always made me laugh.
