I met Glen while working at Ontario Hydro. He always greeted me with a smile and a friendly hello
Our entire family held Glen in such high affection, and we cherish the many memories we shared during the time he boarded with us after we first moved to Kitchener. Each of us carries a special memory of Glen, and he will always hold a warm place in our hearts.

My dear Anne and family,
I am so sorry for the loss that you are experiencing right now. Because of how much I’ve gotten to love Anne and the family over the years, I also had the pleasure of calling Glen “Grandpa”. This feels like the loss of a dad in the world. I know how much joy and how much strength and stability he brought to everyday. It’s a beautiful thing to walk through the world knowing that someone like Grandpa was there to call if the world felt too much. Someone who was steadfast and so full of love. Someone who loved his family more than anything in the world. He is a loss that will be felt evermore. We will be right next to you to help you navigate this.
Sending so much love.

I’m holding you and your family Anne in my heart as you honor your grandpa’s life. He helped raise you into someone who brings so much kindness and understanding into the world, and I know he was endlessly proud of you. He was a bright light, full of wisdom and warmth, and I’m grateful to have heard the stories of the bond you shared and to have met this amazing man. Rest in peace, grandpa. You will be sincerely missed.
